Musical extravaganza marks launch of BMACA in Volta Region: Ghana News

Top musical talents, including Chief One, showcased their artistry at the inauguration of “The Black Music Appreciation Collective Africa” (BMACA) in Kpando, .

The event, held at Torgbuiga Dagadu's palace, drew hundreds of music enthusiasts and featured mesmerizing performances from various artists.

Chief One took the stage, performing hit songs that resonated with fans, contributing to a memorable experience. Other guest artists also entertained the crowd during the hours-long mini-concert.

BMACA, a collective of music enthusiasts and artists from 54 African countries, aims to unite Africans through music and elevate the continent's music industry globally.

Okpekpewuokpe Torgbuiga Dagadu IX, Paramount Chief of the Akpini State, inaugurated the association, emphasizing the importance of focusing on its objectives.

Madam Nancy Herkul, National President of BMACA International, and co-founder Mr. Victor Akpene Ahiakpong, demonstrated their commitment by donating items to the elderly in the Kpando Municipality.

The musical concert also featured performances by the Kpando International Borborbor group and Aloryi Boborbor group. Annabelle Bayitse, an eight-year-old winner of the Akpini Kids talent show, showcased her talents.

Chief One, known for his distinct voice and style, has been a prominent figure in the Ghanaian music scene, blending Hip-hop and Hiplife genres.

The artist, nominated for Best New Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Vodafone Awards (), has produced trendy songs like “Du Agbe,” “Wotelewoea,” “Catwalk,” “Toyota,” “E Go Better,” and more.
